Where to put drinks around a fire pit
Choose reachable, cool, supported drink spots beside the seating, with a clear path between chairs.

Put the resting spot beside the person
Sit down and check the reach before guests arrive. A drink beside the chair is easier to return to the same spot than one behind a seat or across a walking route. Leave space for the hand as well as the holder. If chairs move during the evening, reassess the drink position too.
Keep Steadi away from hot surfaces
Steadi is BPA-free TPU and has no verified maximum heat rating for fire-pit use. It is not a trivet, heat shield or surround accessory. Keep it away from flames, embers and surfaces that become hot. Follow your exact fire-pit instructions and local requirements for the overall setup.
A surround shelf is not automatically a suitable table
The Solo Stove Surround instructions prohibit plastics and heat-sensitive materials on the shelves while the fire pit is in use. Use a separate cool side table for Steadi. A shelf sold as part of a fire-pit system should never be assumed suitable just because it is wide and flat.
Check what supports the base
Choose a level, stationary spot that supports the whole 5.2-inch footprint. Loose gravel, soft grass and uneven pavers are not interchangeable with a firm tabletop. Do not count on Steadi to bridge a gap, level a slope or prevent rocking. Change the resting surface when it moves or leaves the base unsupported.
Leave the route open
Keep drinks away from where people stand up, carry wood or pass snacks. A ground-level drink can be harder to see after dark. A side table may be the more practical choice even if a patch of patio has enough space.
Finish with a simple reset
Bring holders inside after use, hand wash them and let them dry. No dishwasher or microwave. Steadi does not make drinkware spillproof; use the drink’s own suitable lid when that addresses your concern.
